is it possible to make any king of virus?
could we make a virus that would deliver DNA coding for small interfering RNA sequences that would disrupt the production of melanin synthesis enzyme or enzymes? how?

Hi. Probably, but right now they use existing virus particles to deliver genes.

It is possible to synthesize viruses -- this was done with poliovirus back in 2002. I don't know how much farther this is proceeding (you might try medicine, not botany (plants)).

Yes, it's possible to disrupt specific genes. It would have to be crafted for a particular purpose.

no i do not think so because a virus has specific RNA sequences and if you mess that up you could truly kill the virus (since they are really capsules with data in them just happens that the data kills you oh well)

i don't think so, viruses are living things and can not be programmed to do a specific task.
