If you have the space, a little play space for kids with some toys would be nice. And all carpeted would also be nice, instead of cold tile. Interesting question deserves a star!! Good luck to you!! Hope I helped in some way. :)

What's a 'clinical pharmacy setting'? Hospital? Smaller, privately owned pharmacy (soon to be a thing of the past)? Most are retail pharmacies now. With the price of medications today, most people go to wherever they can get it the cheapest and would appreciate some speedy service. WalMart is as far away from clinical as I can think of. But are beyond busy....mostly due to price of meds. As a health care provider I am under daily pressure to order from the four dollar WalMart list.....and I do understand that from my patients point of view.

Well, we can see the slow changes occuring already. Many community pharmacies are expanding into immunizations, cholesterol screenings, etc. Some of them are participating in MTM services.
It'll be interesting to see if the FDA decides to expand the Behind the counter (pharmacist Only) category of drugs. Also, in my state, starting next year, all pharmacists will be able to prescribe on protocol.
