My two year old loved wagon wheel pasta. I would boil the wagon wheels in chicken broth then drain out the broth and let him eat the pasta with hands.

My kids adored this, as did I many years ago.
Boil & drain your pasta, I usually used shells or orzo, while hot stir in cream cheese, a little butter and a pinch of salt. Little ones prefer the mildness of the cream cheese over other kinds of cheese.
I even serve this in my restaurant on occasion as a side with roasted chicken.

ok here goes...sorry my computer went nuts!!!

Bake this, let it cool a little, cut in to very small squares and let her eat her heart out! Don't see why this would not be safe for her. Unless there is something I don't know. (you could leave out the baby peas if you wish)

Mac and Cheese Casserole
2 cups penne pasta
10 oz. container refrigerated Alfredo sauce
2 cups shredded American cheese
1 cup frozen baby peas
1 cup soft whole wheat bread crumbs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 1-1/2 quart glass casserole with cooking spray and set aside. In large pot, cook pasta according to package directions until al dente, drain and return to pot. Add alfredo sauce, cheese and peas to drained pasta and cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until mixture is combined, about 3-5 minutes. Place in prepared dish and top with soft bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until casserole is bubbling and bread crumbs are browned. Serves 4-6

I used Kraft easy mac for my girls. It cooks in the microwave. You just add water and the cheese and it melts all the way.The noodles are very small, but I still chop them up with the spoon. I asked my doctor and he says it is fine. He also said to try and stay away from the canned pasta because it is high in salt.

Velveeta melts the best and isn't stringy so they don't choke. Our 9 month old grand-daughter actually likes turkey wings. She loves trying to gnaw on one. (We watch closely.) As long as they're little bits of anything, she'll eat it. This surprised our son and wife who didn't think she was ready for solids.

Add some cut up chicken or ham pieces, broccoli, string beans. Use colored spirals (tomato and spinach and plain) for color. I guess
Velveeta works best for quick mixing. My son called broccoli flowers for a long time when he was little we played a game with them. He eats anything now.
