About three days ago I dreamt that my mom stabbed my dad in the back with a plastic knife from Wendy's, and then last night I dreamt that my older brother stabbed me in the back at a gas station. My cousin told me that maybe it means that I feel betrayed by someone, but I don't think that's what it is. Does anyone have any ideas why I keep having dreams of stabbings?

Being stabbed by your relatives may mean that you have problems handling authority or assertiveness in other people. You may be having feelings of weakness and feel defensive toward someone or feel you are being taken advantage of or being used or have trouble communicating your frustrations to others. Your unconsicous mind my be telling you that need to try to approach other people with friendliness yet be assertive and communicate your needs and feelings and that will relieve a lot of the frustrations you feel in your communication with others.

To dream that you have been stabbed, signifies your struggle with power. You may be experiencing feelings of inadequacy and defensiveness. Alternatively, you may be feeling betrayed as the popular phrase goes, "being stabbed in the back".
