I'm afraid that we're moving to fast, but I don't want to hurt his feelings by pushing him away. what should I do?

"I feel we are moving too fast, can we take it down a notch? I don't want you thinking that I don't want to see you, but I do need some space once in a while." It's up to him if he gets hurt or not.

Men by nature are hunters. It is true that we want one thing. Especially young men. You don't have to put out just because he wants to. One way you can do it is to plan things where you are alone with him less often. Like family outings or maybe your place of worship has a group activity for young people. Nothing puts the young hormones on ice quicker than a man of the cloth. Now if he says hey come over to myplace, just tell him no. Tell him that you want to slow down. If he gets upset then you know he cares more about your poodle than he does you. Believe me you want a man who will love you when you are 45 and saggy. Anyone can love someone who is young and fit but physicall attraction is never enough. If that is all your relationship is built on it is doomed to fail.
I do wish you well, remember plan for group outings.

All you have to do is tell him that you think things are moving too fast. Just be calm and sweet and tell him that you don't want to take it too fast. If he really loves you then he won't mind slowing it down a bit. And if he does get mad then he isn't the right guy for you anyway. You need someone who is willing to take it as fast or as slow as you want to go...don't let him "rush you" into doing things you don't want to.

You don't have to push him away just ask him if u 2 can slow down just a little or how ever much you want to. It is good to be honest with him and just tell him and i am sure that he will understand, give it a shot Good Luck

Talk to him, let him know exactly how you feel and what you want to do with regards to the relationship.
