I am not a believer, but there is evidence.
The bible is evidence, personal testimony that god spoke to people is evidence (if you hear Santa or Elvis, of course, you are delusional and get some time in a secure ward or strong drugs prescribed). Some people count what they see around them and what they call miracles as evidence.
I would also point out that some believers call this proof. It isn't. At best it is evidence, and some people wouldn't even call it that.
Similarly, of course, there is evidence (sometimes more tangible) of the yeti. It is just that nobody believes that.
However, there is, as far as I know, no credible, convincing evidence that that stands up to scrutiny that a god exists .

If you cannot see the evidence of Gods existence (creation, believers, the Bible etc), then you are in good company.
I was certainly in the same frame of mind before I became a christian. It was only after my conversion that I realised all the evidence to prove Gods existence was in fact staring me in the face. I know that unbelievers are unconvinced that God is real because at one time I was there too.
Proving God exists will not save you, The Holy Spirit convicts and convinces the unbeliever to belief. Only then does the proof of Gods being become real to you.

It's true that there is no evidence for the existence of God.But that really isn't the point. Belief in God is rooted in faith, not fact.
Faith doesn't need evidence, it only needs belief.
A great many people believe that there is life on other planets. There is no evidence to support that belief. A great many people believe in reincarnation, life after death, magic, astrology and gawd knows what else. All these things and more, and not a single scrap of evidence anywhere in sight.
So yes. I agree with you.
But it's great to keep things in some sort of perspective, right?

their is no evidence for god or against god's existance but does that really matter in the grand sceam of things. if you want to argue against a paradox (which i don't believe in by the way) go on and the same for those who believe, but why worry about it at the end of the day arguing about it is pointless when their are betterthings to focus on like wars, crime, corrupt polititians and people dieing due to starvation and deseaces that are wiped out in the west

There is no evidence for the existence of God. That's a simple fact that does not warrant debate!

There is no 100% foolproof evidence for or against.
I don't base my life on unanswerable questions, so I choose not to ask about the existence of god, and just carry on being good to people.
At the end of the day, if Christians are right and there is a god and heaven, it should be accessible to me. If they are wrong and I will just die and rot, I find nothing wrong with that either.
No matter what my future is, I am willing to accept it.
((((hugs))))
May peace go with you throughout your life

You are right and I say this as a Christian. It is a faith, you will not find proof of God in the Holy Bible, right from the start it assumes that thee is a God.
People who try to prove that God exists drive me up the wall with their long rambling stories which are full of holes. It would be cruel to say to them OK I'm pleased that that is enough to persuade you but it is not proof to anyone else. It may be an indication but nothing more

There is also no evidence to suggest that God doesn't exist.
