sunscreen does not protect your tattoo from damage. obviously you are still going to tan because you want cancer and wrinkles AND a faded tattoo so do whatever you want because i doubt you'll listen to anything that we say on here. however if you want your tattoo to look its absolutel best you should keep it out of the sun (real or artificial) at all costs.

No, even after your tattoo is healed you should avoid direct UV rays. Is it a life or death situation to go tanning? (I highly doubt it). Wait until your tattoo is fully healed - 6-8 weeks - before you go tanning. And even then, make sure you put a high SPF sunscreen on it, or cover it with a cloth or bandage.

No. Your ink will fade. You need to let the tattoo heal completely. If you MUST go, you need to cover it completely with a towel, a compact, something to keep 100% of the UV rays off of it.

only if you wanted an effed piece of crap on you for the rest of your life. if you wanted handle the maintence of properly caring for your new tattoo, don't get them. it's not hard. wash it several times with antibacterial soap, apply all natural lotion several times a day and avoid chlorinated water, sea water, AVOID TANNING and THE SUN!!!

NO . . . wrap the tattoo in something that the fake bake oven can't get through like a towel if you absolutely have to go fake baking.
