Lets say when he gathers the kingdoms of the world to come against his chosen people Israel. How does Satan acomoplish this. How does he work through humanity like he does with the fruits of his spirit which is destruction? How does he influence and minipulate people into doing his will withought them even being aware? Is it by his powers and the spirit of sin that has enterd into mans soul at the fall of humanity. Can and does Satan work through groups of people like he works through evil dictators such as Hitler or Sadam.
christ has set man free from bondage by the power of his Holy Spirit. Are those who haven't recieived the spirit still in bondage performing the devils will? Or are all of us under this curse of lawlessness / sin just that as Christians we realize the fruit of the spirit and consequences of his influence in our lifes. Thus we confess with our mouths and acknowledge our sins and fight against this spirit which tries to bind us and place us back into bondage and sla

Remember that Jesus looked at Peter and said, "Get
behind me Satan, for thou savourest not the things that
be of God, but that be of men". Was Jesus speaking
to Peter & calling him satan, or was he speaking to
Satan, who had influenced Peter to say what he had
said? Peter was not satan, so Jesus was speaking
to satan, who was speaking through Peter at that time.
Satan speaks thru us all at certain points during our
lives, but that doesn't make us his.

Ehp 6:12, "For we wrestle not against flesh & blood, but
against principalities, against powers, against the rulers
of darkness OF THIS WORLD, against SPIRITUAL
WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES", but Romans 8:37,
says, "IN ALL THESE THINGS WE ARE MORE THAN
CONQUERORS THROUGH HIM THAT LOVED US".

How Satan Works Through People

2017-01-15 04:14:37 · answer #2 · answered by ? 4 · 0 0

Yes! Satan does work through people to do his will, cause there cannot be any direct contact with the humans and that was the condition. Ok, so you may not believe whatever it is that I am about to tell but this is what I know to be true for me. Now the movies like constantine, matrix may very well be false to a majority of people, but both are trying to give the same message. It was said that when the souls were put on earth in whichever theory one may want to believe there was a condition layed by both the sides i.e. God and satan that both will not have direct contact with humans and they can only influence them, but not command them 'cause the one thing we humans have is the right of choice. It is our choices that make our lives. It is not just in Christianity but in every religion said that the only way to get out of the bondage of the Satan is to control your senses or more like controlling your mind. Which is next to impossible. Our senses are the minions of Satan that make us do the things we should not be doing or at least in moderation. The more we get detached from this materialistic world yet while being in this world and fulfilling our duties as a human being and as a family man/woman is the only way we can cut our bonds with the Satan. There is nothing scarier in this world than an evil human being, and a human being has a tendency to be both good and evil. It is only in this human form can we attain salvation. As St. Joseph said "I die daily." If one can understand the hidden meaning behind that we too can get the get out of jail card from the Satan himself. But instead of blaming anyone we human beings have a lot to blame ourselves for our behavior. Of course there is the subtle influence from the dark side, but again isn't it our choices whether to take the path to darkness or not that makes the difference. And the get out of this life and birth cycle card can be given only by a Living Master. Now a dead doctor cannot treat you right? Also neither can a dead teacher teach. So to learn the meaning of life and death one needs a living master, someone who has experienced dying while living.

Anyways, whatever I have said is not to hurt anyones beliefs or sentiments and if I have I apologize. Remember one thing that Jesus Christ had said "when the student is ready the teacher will come."

Religion is just one of those things that we can't know is real or not, not until it`s too late.
Of course even if God didn't exist man would have to invent him, imagine a world where people think that after you die thats it - the end - it would mean that people who were bad and evil in life would come to no worse an end than those who were good and kind. A world like this would have many many more evil people in it. So even if there was no God governments and society would need to invent one to try to keep the masses behaving themselves and not doing so many bad things. This unfortuanetly means that just because so many people believe in a God, it doesn't help us work out whether (or not) there really is a God. Its just a question of faith.
However another way to look at it, is that you got nothing to lose by believing in a god. I mean even if the athiests do turn out to be right, they will be no better off than those who believed. We all just die. But if the believes are the ones who turn out to be right, then it is most definatly worth while to believe, for they will end up in a much better place than the non-believers. So its a kind of "why not believe" sort of situation, best to play it safe.

Probably the same way he convinced everyone that homosexuality is a good idea. Gradual corruption of thought over long, or sometimes quite short, periods of time.

Evil only has sway over us because of our own evil nature.
Or the fact our spirit must live in a material body, that is basically selfish. It wants what it wants, and fears for its survival. So evil can use us by manipulating the knowlegde of these things. Causing people to talk about us, to keep others from talking about them. Even hating others just because they have a differnet nature than ours. Like some people naturally love to talk, and others are quiet. These are the roots of evil in our world.

(I am addressing some of those who answered)

We did not create some fictional character to become the scapegoat. We, as sinners, pay the ultimate price for our sins, but we can redeem ourselves by accepting Christ as our Savior. The Devil hates us because we were made in the image of Christ, he hates Him and will do whatever it takes to separate us from Him. Satan does this by putting ideas into your head (C.L. Richardson made a good point when she mentioned homosexuality). Everybody, regardless of their faith, gets thoughts like these, but with self-control, strength and a heart in Christ you can do your best to not act on them. Are you all that oblivious? Yes, we can decide for ourselves, I'm not saying that at all, but there are always bad influences out there, and they NEED to be blamed. Godspeed.

Well Jesus Declares that no man can serve two masters. Which means that if the holy spirit isn't in you or in other words if God isn't your master then yea, unsaved people is susceptible to satan's fury. The Bible says that satan comes to kill, steal and destroy-which we should all agree. It also says that he is the father of lies, seeking for people he can devour. Summing all of this up satan works through you if your heart is not with God. Eg. People who want's money so bad, satan can influence them to do things to achieve it because that's what their heart desires.

I don't know, but you seem to be way more into bondage than I am...I mean, I tried it once..okay twice...but it wasn't that good for me. I do, however, respect your lifestyle choices, and I think that's what it all really boils down to in the END...respect. If you're not getting that from your present master, I'd suggest getting another dm to work with. And always remember your safe word. Good luck! Peace out, dog!
