How could having so many beautiful children blessing your life be a sin. Congratulations on being against birth control. You allowed God to bless your life with as many children as he saw fit and it is paying off.

If you don't have a problem with it I don't have a problem with it.

As long as you can provide for all these kids, and love them and bring them up in a loving way, there is no reason you shouldn't have them. I would not even dream of it. Five boys was quite enough, thank you.

And I don't consider it a sin.

If you can afford to take care of them monetarily, emotionally, and physically, without neglecting any of them because of the volume, then have at.

If some of your children end up suffering because there are so many others who need time and love, then that's a different story.

Wow! That's great! The Lord has blessed you abundantly and you are doing His will. Great saints have come from families such as yours. I wish I could afford to have more children but 7 is stressing our pocketbook to the limit as it is. God Bless!

I commend you on your commitment to your children. However it is impossible for two parents to adequately parent more than 6 dependent children. At some point the burden shifts to the older siblings to raise your children. There may not be a biblical commandment prohibiting it, but I think it's a bit self-serving.

Why would this be a sin? If you can care for them all and provide financially, spiritually, and parentally to them all AND (depending on your religeous convictions) you are in a monogomous marriage then no, it ain't a sin.

As a side note... WOW!! you can afford them all?

No it is not a sin. You say you can afford your children. You have enough room. Your wife must be pretty healthy. I wish you well with your newest addition to your family.

Here's what I do when I want to know if something is a sin. Go to the ten commandments. If you don't see it listed, you're home free. Have fun!

Why make things more complicated than they are?
