*Would girl jack-o-lanterns be called jane-o-lanterns?
*Would you say that jack-o-lanterns have "bright smiles?"
*Would a jack-o-lantern made from an unripened pumpkin be called a "green-lantern?"
*Is it true that even though a jack-o-lantern's head is warm, it doesn't have a fever? Giving him some soup will just make things worse? Or putting him into a warm bath?

Would any of those look good on your door?

How about "Spook-tacular Work!" if there is some more of their schoolwork that goes along with the display. Or, here's a poem that you could put in the center and put all the jack-o-lanterns around it:

Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate,
The first one said, "Oh, my, it's getting late!"
The second one said, "There are witches in the air."
The third one said, "But we don't care!"
The fourth one said, "Let's run, let's run!"
The fifth one said, "Isn't Halloween fun?"
