The article said that archeologists working at the Pre-Victorian Fossil Beds in Utah have uncovered a Triceratops skelton, with a remakably well-preserved saddle still strapped to it's back, and a child still sitting in the saddle. Scientists speculate that they were buried by a sudden and overwhelming mudslide. The reins were still held tightly in the childs hands. Incredibly, the saddle still retains remnants of the leather tooling that was lovingly applied by it's maker. The archeologists were able to read the name "Duke" on the side of the saddle, making this the first dinosaur skelton ever discovered that has an attributable name. "Duke" was a young male, approximately 4-6 years old. The child was a female, about 10-12 years of age. Chief excavator Dr. Evan Spade said that "Of course, the ultimate find would be a T-Rex with corn and other cultivated crops still in it's mouth." What do you have to say about this, nonbelievers??

Haha! Thank-you for making my afternoon much more pleasant! Well done!

Edit: Of particular good humor are the "pre-victorian fossil beds!" Excellent!

I give this 10 hugs! ma wrote one the other day that spoke to me on an intuitive level. Deep as if connected I felt her poem. I know this poem and wish I could have come up with the tools you used to deliver it- I love the way you chose the dictionary, calendar, well meaning and future hope. I really don't think some people will ever feel the realization of deeper understanding. This leaves me with remembering the grief that I am truly alone because nothing and no one can at times make it better. My spirituality is the only porthole and even then because I am not perfect, I doubt. I know I've "gone off" from where this lead but lol that is me. BTW- Love the last line so very much.

You sure that wasnt in "Creation Geology Monthly" magazine?

Funny. Not to point out the obvious, but if the triceratops had degraded to the point of being a skeleton, then there is no way that the leather saddle still was legible or that the reins would be held tight in the child's hands....all of it would have degraded at the same rate, so the child should also be a skeleton and the leather would be non-existant anymore...

Im an investigator. You have to wake up earlier than that to fool me.

I can't find any evidence of a scientific journal called "Recent Geology." Can you provide a link?

Also, the only person I can find named Evan Spade is a professional wrestler, and I'm assuming he's not the excavator you're talking about.

My conlcusion? Your friend is putting you on. Either that or it's a delicious parody. Either way I'm laughing.

EDIT: Now I know how people feel when they don't get my questions. Nice job.

Amazing the people who took this seriously. I assume you are making fun of the triceratops model with a saddle on it at the creation museum?

It sounds like a fairy tale to me. Anyone can say anything, you have to provide some proof. A discovery as sensational as the one you claim would have been splashed all over the news.

I think your friend is part of a movement that drives down scientific literary in the name of fantasy tales.

Humans and dinosaurs never coexisted. There is no evidence to the contrary, only made up crap to support young-earth notions.

One will eventually be excavated in Kentucky. The skin will have turned to fiberglass.
