No and here is why ...
There could not be a savior for all mankind because the understanding of mankind, the world in which these statements were made and so forth is nothing like the world we live in today.
How so? The Hebrews and early Christians, even the Romans only knew of the world they lived in, the immediate nations surrounding them, and only hints and secrets and lore of any worlds beyond. To say that god came to save the world did not mean indigenous tribes of North and South America, the South Pacific and way way beyond because there was no knowledge of these things.
As well, how can a Jesus make such a blanket statement for mankind when even Jesus only knew his culture, Roman occupation and the narrow small world he occupied for the short 33 or so years of his life? On the other side of the planet cultures much older were established, empires had come and gone and basically there was no knowledge of Judaism, this "christ", the need for a savior and so forth.
And why should the rest of the world, known or unknown accommodate someone who came at a particular time, in a very specific place preaching a very narrow message from an ultra-exclusive god?
No, this was not god's will and if Jesus had an intent it was manufactured later, long after he ceased living.

No, did you know that the name Jesus was one of the most common names throughout the period that your Jesus supposedly existed? Which logically means that there could be many stories attributed to him were done by someone else. Also, the stories were not written down about Jesus until well after his death, and they were not scribed by his disciples. Which also means that the stories were expanded and added onto and created to make him seem larger than life. Have you also looked into other religions to realize that there have been many earlier religions with a Jesus like figure (son of God), and that most logically Christianity took that stance to have their own Savior in order to have an easier integration into new cultures. With the acceptance of Christianity by the Roman Emperor Constantine, where he called the meeting at Nicaea in order to decide what being a Christian was and what Christians believed. Does that not scare you that you are believing a belief that was taken from so many others and made up along the way, and then fine tuned throughout the ages in order to decide what you are supposed to believe in by humans? You are believing in something that did not happen, nor has ever happened on the planet, that was invented to control the minds of the masses and reduce uprisings of the poor and weak (note a wonderful quote from the Bible: It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich person to make it into heaven). Your religion was invented by people who thought that the earth was flat and that an earthquake was God's anger.

How about some evidence that that story actually happened that way? It's not unlikely that Jesus existed, but his life events were written down after he died. This is the equivalent of talking to a 70 year old and getting details of a person's life that died in the 1930's.
Edit:
Some churches still think that John the baptist is the messiah.

Passover was a very volatile time in Jerusalem. The pharisees wanted to keep the peace to avoid any Roman action.
As such, any malcontents like him would have been arrested and executed by the Romans. He is not the only example of a "prophet" being executed by Rome

They killed MANY Prophets.
Jesus even called them the "children of the killers of Prophets".
God sent the final Isrealite Prophet (THE Messiah) down through a miracle birth so that NOBODY could say he was an imposter and then kill him (like they did to hundreds of other Prophets of God).
If the Israelites believed in Jesus as a True Prophet and their MESSIAH (last chance for redemption) and did not try to kill him then GOD was going to forgive them for the slaying of his Prophets and an eternal curse would be lifted.
As we all know, the only thing that was lifted was......... Jesus.
As a final punishment, GOD will bring them all together into one small area and then send them an Evil False Messiah and the rest is history.........

Yes, I do believe that. Jesus taught different moral codes than those of the Pharisees, and as a result his teachings posed a threat to their supremacy.
Killing Jesus was supposed to eliminate that threat.

JC perhaps replied this question He stated - "In my Father's abode are many mansions" He grew to become into particularly generously inclusive of all of us and each concept. no longer basically the assorted non secular types, yet some Godless - also have a place interior the Christian heaven (properly, according to possibility no longer the French) it is likewise achievable, that he grew to become into basically saving the Jews - his very own people - and the mansions ingredient refers back to the numerous factions interior their own equipment. The Catholic Church accepts the former theory. they're adamant that no-one is condemned purely because of the fact they in no way heard of God, or JC - or because of the fact they're limited to stay with the religion of their mum and dad or society. ("Honour thy mothers and dads"). Or, in different words, there are a number of roads to heaven, and basically one street to hell - in spite of the reality that that is oftentimes stated any incorrect way around. that could be a Christian perspective (unsupported with the aid of maximum so stated as Christian church homes)

Did you know that John the Baptist had his head removed? People used to think that HE was the messiah too. What do you say about that? How many of Jesus' apostiles died of old age?

No, I do not. There is no historical evidence whatsoever that the biblical Jesus ever existed, much less died for anyone.
