Recently, a girl whom I'm still strongly in love with informed me that our relationship would not work out because she "loves me like she would an older brother."

How does a guy get a girl to love him as a man and not as a sibling? I really love this girl and want to mean more to her than merely her older brother. HELP!

in other words she is telling you that she isn't sexually attracted to you, you don't make enough money, she wouldn't want to bare your children, or she wash someone else on her mind right now...best bet man, don't get all bent out of shape with it and move on...when a girl tells you that she osn't going to change her mind or the way she feels, she is going to miss out on someone that would treat her right probably to date some tool bag. stay on the side lines if you want, but your most likely going to get hurt, if you are strong person, be her friend and go find someone else...the only hope that you will ever have is either making her jealous or her realizing that all the tool bags she dates aren't as good as you... and well thats really hard.

Show her the other side of you. She probably only knows the nice, funny, sweet guy. Show her the sexy, manly and sexual side of you. Thats the sort of thing she doesnt expect from her brother.
