Not too often...they do give me a lot of thumbs down tho. I guess they think they are hurtin my itty bitty feelins, but I figure if I got em that mad, I must be doin or saying something RIGHT!

They insulted Christ...they will continue to do so to His followers. Its part of the package that we sign up for as believers...and quite frankly, they simply prove that Gods Word is true and are a constant reminder to me of where I was before I put aside my pride and arrogance and came to Him for His free Gift.

I wear their insults as badges of honor...bring em on!!!

What I don't quite get is how some people expect atheists to not get annoyed when they are constantly being told that an entity that they believe to be NON-EXISTANT is

a) without understanding of how they could fail to see the logic of something that has not a single iota of evidence

b) going to cast them into hell for questioning this thing that has not a single iota of evidence.

Further, the atheists do not "hate God." To them, that's like saying they hate the tooth fairy. They don't care one way or another because they don't believe there is a God any more than you believe there is a tooth fairy (for those not in the loop, there is no tooth fairy).

I think, if they "hate" anything, it's the fundamental Christians who want to legislate the arbitrary pronouncements of their God and thereby control the life decisions of the atheists and the rest of the country.

If this is construed as insulting, I apologize, but as a theist, I would love to see other theists use just a tad bit of reasoning.

I can deal with opposing opinions, however, it is the degrading of what we hold sacred and dear that I hate! They spew hatred at the One who gave us all life and they have no respect for our beliefs. I choose to not be around them! When I post a question for Christians, I usually see an atheist or two. Some spew obscenities that they direct at the Lord and His people. Some say lewd things. This reflects on their lack of moral character. I do not mind the debate. I do mind the lewd remarks and obscenities, the mocking and the sarcasm.

If you don't like it, then Christians need to start asking better questions in general. In fact the majority of Christian "questions" are not questions at all, but either thinly veiled childish insults of non-Christians or inappropriate "hooray for our side!" posts.

Notice how many of the Christians who responded to your question choose to tell the standard "they hate God" lie about atheists.

If you want Christians here to be treated like adults, work to get them to act like adults.

The difference between an insult and a constructive criticism in in the mind of the receiver. All we tell the deluded 21st century superstitious dweeb is, the truth.

Atheist think inside the box, the box being the universe. They have only the box to examine to fine and grope for answers.

I have been insulted by some atheist, yet others are genuine in their debate, observations, and comments.

I would not lump all atheist as whore mongers. As with everything else, including Christians...Some will turn to insult.

I'm pretty sure it's happened. As a matter of fact, just today I answered a Christians request for info about an online site for bible study by giving this website http://www.bible.com and do you know what I got? Thumbs down. Here's a link to the question. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ao6kJvPGaleeNLJgifVCMifsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20071002075327AAHzPlT&show=7#profile-info-y2o8wx8eaa

Can you explain why I got thumbs down for this?

I have posted more than one question without receiving a negative response from an atheist.

Occasionally but for the most part I think people are just saying what they think or believe and others tend to take it as a insult.

No but I've posted questions that have been deleted and swift violations given. I've also received some rather spicy hate-mail from christians. It almost hurt my itty bitty feelings.

No, atheists insult themselves by saying they have descended from apes.

Sure, physically they have 'evolved' but intellectually they still have a ways to go!
