Difficult to come to a exact figure. It depends if you have Medicare, and other insurance. All my bills are not in , so far I would say about $5000.00 That includes Anesthesia the lens implants and the Hospital charges.

It may depend on where and under what circumstances you have it done. Some can be done in the doctor's office (cheaper), some have to be done in a facility with drugs, etc. I had the latter done and total costs ran about $5000 for everything.

My dad had his lens replaced and it cost almost $9,000 (billed to insurance). He could have upgraded the new lens to a bifocal one for another $2100 but he did not, and doesn't regret it (as the doctor implied).
