My GE "Musalarm" from 1948 (!) is still going strong with only one new tube. My JVC clock radio I bought in 1974 has never needed a thing. The two RCA clock radios I bought two years ago both failed within six months. So, I guess the older ones last while the newer ones crap out faster!

I have one that's 30 years old. Still going strong, after 30 solid years of use.
