we don't try to prove that Concept of God does not exist.
We have complete realization that there is no such thing as God.
We don't bother about what people's relationship is with religion or God or anything else.
We are in this forum so that we can portray our opinions on God, religion and what we have gone through. We are also open minded to listen about other peoples belief system and not belittle them.
If you spent a lot of time thinking of God, trying to prove and things like that, you might have not been an atheist but an agnostic tipping towards the atheist side.

God only exists in the hearts of those that believe God exists. As I've said so many times, I believe in Father God, Mother God, Son, Holy Spirit. And when I look at the beauty of Mother Earth, I know in my heart that only a Great Creator can create such things. I've included a video below to help you understand what I'm saying.

Most don't, in the same way that they don't try to prove that the sky is green. Only agnostics do this, because they are unsure of His existence, they want to convince others - because the more that believe them, the more they feel they might be right. Safety in numbers. Of course, it doesn't prove a thing - the existence of God (or lack of existence) is not subject to scientific proof. Remember that non-existence cannot be proven - only that we haven't found it yet.

Many people fear the unknown. It is easier to say no to things then to try and accept it. This subject is a very scary one. I believe with all my heart that God does exist. I have prayed with all my heart for a certain thing and I have yet to be left with out.
I can't explain it but I am a believer! God is on your mind because your heart can feel Him. Think about it and educate your self. Don't go by what people tell you. You find the answer on your own. I can only say what has happen to me but I will not tell you that you have to believe! It's your call! =)

No one can prove it either way, so if you feel God was speaking to you and showing you he exists, than that is great for you. I can't say whether God exists and I would never try to make people believe one way or the other, it's a personl choice. I chose to believe in myself and have faith in myself to get me through this life, it's nice to think someone greater than ourselves is out there who loves us all and we are not alone when we are, but that's just it it's a nice thought or feeling, whether it's God I can't say.

I posted a question (one of the very few) where I asked how people would feel if they were snubbed by God. The biblical teaching is that unless God the Father calls you, you can not even know or care about God. The fact is, the bible says you are unable to know God unless he calls to you.
The atheist can not know that God is there, he can't understand that God exists and you can gripe, complain, scream in vain and be mad, but you are shut out from him.
One who answered my question stated that he would not want to be anywhere near God anyway. I do believe he was honest in his answer.
I am not happy that my friends are not christians, but it is their choice. I can't give them what is beyond my ability to give. Jesus says, who so ever will come, let him come and be saved. And he says, unless the Father call you, you can not come. It is a paradox, not one that thrills me.
I have said this before and I will say it again, those who claim that every verse of the bible gives comfort, either do not understand it, or they are very uncaring. The bible saves and the bible condemns. I want all to know Jesus as I do, but that is their choice.
Science confirms my trust in God to be valid. Science establishs my understanding of the world around me to see God's handiwork. For them who are not called by the LORD, science works to seal thier minds.
by the way, seems I read someone changed their name to santa claus, so he does not exist, even if it is just a tombstone to remind us now.

You were never an atheist.
You don't get atheists for the same reason teenagers approacing their 20's don't start believing in the tooth fairy and santa again.
Unfortunately grown adults do believe in god (depressingly) so atheists are forced to think about it especially when there are agressive attempts to get such absurd superstition in to schools in the place of real science.

God exists as a concept, as an idea, as a being in your mind. Thats it. God does not exist in the real world of physical things. Get it? Yes god exists, but only as a concept.

The existence of God is the greatest of mystery, neither angel, nor man can comprehend. The existence of God,lets man know about the universe, and where he came from. If their is no god, than everything is hopeless, confusion and in a dark state.
