I belive what you are looking for is the original 1611 translation. You can find this at any Christian book store.

Look in the first few pages. Mine says "This Bible contains the text of the King James Version, originally published in 1611."

They are not all the same. Get one that says THE HOLY BIBLE
1611 EDITION it will have The Old Testament, The Apocrypha and The New testament. The Newer versions took out The Apocrypha because the puritans were afraid of the info in it. Just remember this no matter which book you get they are all copy's of copy's. They have been added to and taken away from to the point they are just books just like Websters Dictionary.

Get a KJV Hebrew-Greek study Bible. It has main words keyed to the Strong's concordance so you can see the original words meaning in Hebrew and Greek.

If you want one that will last - get one from Oxford Press. They are the best quality.

A KJV is a KJV. The only difference is the binding...and I have an Oxford that has lasted me 40+ years.
