Is it illegal to have sex with a female friend in a hotel in India? lets say both his/her homes are inaccessible for a while. Heard that cops raid hotels in India.

Cops do raid hotels in India when they get tip offs, mostly to check any prostitution. India still continues with a lot of laws formwed during British rule which can get you in trouble if you are an unmarried couple. So the best place is either your home or her home..or a common friend's vacant flat.
