Wow. That's a huge amount to give to your parents. I'm surprised you can afford it. (In the US, that would be 1/3 of your income after taxes.)

No its still less than 1/4 of your income. On your own you would spend more once you bought food, washed clothes, paid utilities , and rent (or mortgage) payment as well as all the other stuff your Mom probably buys now.

Yes, it would cost you more to live on your own. But, it probably doesn't cost this much to your parents to have you around.
