Some people that became very dear to me found out that I had said some not so nice things about them over the course of our growing relationship. Now their feelings are hurt and at a very critical time when we had all just finally gotten to a good place. I know that I need to give them time, but with my love caught in the middle - I have this overwhelming desire to "fix" the problem before the Holidays. I've thought of sending flowers or something? Would any of you? Any advice on how long to wait? I truly miss the friendship we had worked so hard to acheive simply because it took so long and I got angry now and then. What would you do - have you ever been in this type of scenerio?

I think Miss Manners would say this is a good time for groveling.

almost everyone has been in it...but i dont think theres no real way to fix it cause they already have that frame in their mind about you talking sh*t. even if you still become friends after this then they are never going to have the same respect as they once did.

gl & peace!

the old adage of sticks and stones can break my bones but names can never hurt me is simply not true. Like mom used to say, if you dont have something nice to say then DONT say it.
