Sorry. Didn't lose 10 lbs. I lost 55 lbs. I think drinking a lot of green tea helped contribute to it. Though I really believe the main reason was depression...

Life still change!!!!
I was not over weight I was obese and I started in March of this year to exercise and eat right, so far I have lost over 52 Lbs. I eat more protein (Chicken, fish, beef and Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches), a lot of vegetables except potatoes, eat fruits and I eat every two hours, no more than 350 calories per meal and nothing 2 hrs. before bed and drink a lot of water. No white bread or Pasta only whole wheat or multi-grain and eventually I have chocolate, cheesecake. Do a little weight training because for every pound of muscle you add your body burns from 50 to 100 extra calories a day.
workout routine.
6:00 A.M. I start on an empty stomach 45 min cardio on a machine called a natural runner I think it is an elliptical and I set it at 65% to 75% of the resistance and an average speed of 3.5 Mph. and a change from going forward and backward randomly.
5:30 P.M. I do weight training for an hour I do Monday and Thursday triceps and chest, Tuesday and Friday Legs and Abs and Wednesday and Saturday biceps, forearm and back. And end everyday with a 10 mile stationary bike ride of about 30 min.

When I lived at the Grand Canyon, I would lose 10 pounds just hiking out.
Diet and exercise. Met Rx is a scientifically designed meal replacement with the least bulk for a meal. most vegetable and fruits contain 80% water, so that would not fatten.
Any rigorous activity that would let you sweat out water weight would get you real close to 10 pounds.

I lost 10 pounds a month by eating 1500 calories a day, drinking lots of water and doing cardio for 30 minutes a day 6 times a week.

I did two things:
I followed the 80/20 rule which means I stuck to a healthy balanced diet 80% of the time. The remaining 20% I indulged myself.
I took daily exercise. In my case, I just walked briskly a minimum of a couple of miles a day. As time went on, I got to really enjoy it and walked more and more: 4 or 5 miles a day wasn't unusual and some days I did over 10.
The trick is not to be too hard on yourself and allow yourself some treats and to choose an exercise that you quite enjoy and which is easy and accessible.
Good luck!

Special K diet. Eat a bowl of any Special K cereal for breakfast, another for lunch. Snack on fruit and vegetables during the day, and eat any Special K snack bar or bites twice a day as snacks between meals. You can drink what you want to (according to the website) or you can drink flavored water (Special K has good ones) and lose a little faster.
As with most diets, choose one day a week to eat what meals you want to, so you aren't tempted to go off of the diet because you can't have your favorite foods. Just don't over do it. (Don't eat an entire pizza for a meal and a box of donuts for a snack)
I lost five pounds the first week (which is what Special K advertises their diet to do). Goodluck!

I have lost 43 pounds so far and I did it by making healthier food choices ( eating veggies and dip instead of chips and dip etc), giving up soda and drinking lots of water. walking also helps.
Weight watchers was a good boost for me when i hit a plateau. Counting my points helped me not overeat, and I started losing again!
I have gone from a size 20 to a size 16 and I am still losing weight. 20 more pounds to go before I hit my goal.

when my BF and I broke up, I was so stressed out that I dropped 10-15 pounds without doing a thing. I ate fast food every night, but still the weight came off in about 2-3 weeks. its an unhealthy and undesirable way to lose weight, but stress will do that to you....

I lost 25lbs. in one month doing the Adkins diet. We didn't go STRICT with it but we lowered the amount of carbs that we ate every day and within a week I lost 7lbs! Imagine how much you could lose if you followed all the rules of the diet?
I know some people are against it but it worked for me!
