Have your hormone levels tested, in particular, your Testosterone. Men go through andropause which is similar to women's menopause, only its the male hormones that take a dive.
You want your hormone levels to be normal for that of a 25-35 year old man, NOT a man your age, so don't let the doc tell you "you're normal for your age". Get a doctor who will give you a prescription for Testosterone according to how much you need that will put you back to the levels of a 25-35 year old man.

You say your primary concern is for your wife and her satisfaction, but I'm not sure I buy that. If this does not bother her but is bothering you, it's your issue, not hers. Because if she is satisfied and she doesn't mind, then it seems like it is just your ego at stake here, worrying more about your performance than her actual satisfaction. And the more anxious you are, the more your "performance" can suffer. Why don't you just focus on having fun with your wife and get creative?
