Yes, I know Dove is a good one, but is there one that's better or have you ever tried one that's proven to work? P.S. I do love Dove soap.

Actually my child just turned 6years last week...Though I've know him to have sensitive skin I tried the Dove that he really likes. I've heard of Cetaphil, and I think that Phisoderm is a good brand too. Good thought though; think I would switch back to using Johnson's & Johnson's liquid soaps on my kids from here on out...Smells great too. California Baby or Burt's Bees..Thanks you guys!

I like Ivory myself...but when used, my son told me that it made him itchy! Maybe because it was the type that had Aloe in it..IDK.

My husband has super sensitive skin and he swears by Ivory soap. We keep a bar of ivory and my liquid Bath and Body Works soap in the bathroom at all times. His and her hand soaps...

Why would you want to use a petroleum derivative on your child's nice new skin? I wouldn't want to put a detergent on my child which strips the skin and then leaves a nice petro residue behind that pretends to be a moisturizer.

A gentle natural soap from a natural store will be a LOT better for both you and your child.

Once you try a natural body care product, I promise you will never go back to the petro alternatives.

I can use Cetaphil soap and cetaphil lotion without ever worrying about it. I always apply the lotion afterwards because sensitive skin does dry out easily. My son is almost 6 now too- I still use the same products.

"Kiss My Face" is an olive oil based soap that is very gentle on the skin.

Another good one is "Pears" a glycerin soap that comes in its regular formula as well as sensitive skin.

I don't know if they have it in America, but have you tried sunlight soap (soap bars or shower gel)?
I know they use it in hospitals and in maternity clinics to wash babies because it's such a gentle soap. And the nutritive shower gel is great for dry skin.

Cetaphil by Galderma is the best saop for sensitive skin. It is fragrance free and comes in both a lotion and bar versions. The lotion is excellent as well. They have versions of the lotion that has SPF as well. Sunscreen is really hard on my daughters skin.

Burts Bee's.

Dove is too fragranced for baby's delicate skin.

I wouldn't use Dove. It has so many chemicals. Try California Baby. My baby has never had any rashes or anything like that.

I use Baby Magic on my 14 month old... It's super gentle, and works great. I love the way it smells.
