Do you have an alter ego? AND how do your two personalities compare??
Seriously... and this question is especially for my L.D.S. contacts (that is why it is in R&S), but open to all.
Anyways, to answer my own Q. I do! It's a sort of release for me. I have lots of issues I need to deal with, and my "alter ego" is how I do it. I know... I'm psychotic! But at least I know it darling! ;o)

And to make it tie in with R&S a bit more... would your "alter ego" concern anyone you know from church??

kitty- I'm me too darling. The difference with me, is I can only let out one of me at a time, to come out and play.
Right now I have the me that everyone knows locked up, so she doesn't interfere with my mischief! ;o)

Cinthia - No problem hun... Basically what I'm trying to say, is that I really am who most people think I am. BUT there are times when my evil twin comes out to play. You know... like around the same time, once a month. LMAO! ;o)

This is my alter-ego. In real life, I live a wonderful, typical LDS life. I attend church regularly, pay a 10% tithe (to the humanitarian fund, though, not the tithing fund), carry a temple recommend, serve in my calling, home teach, and participate in blood drives and scout camps. I simply choose to believe what is true, and reject that which isn't, about the church.
If people on here think I'm apostate, then that's their prerogative. I claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of my own conscience, and allow all other LDS the same privilege. I feel honest with myself, clean before God, and enjoy a wonderful family life with my active LDS wife and daughter. I am truly happier today than I ever was when I believed literally in the traditional view of the LDS Church.
Oh, and I'm slightly taller and strikingly more handsome than you see on the icon to the left.

I do, kinda...
At work, Im expected to be this reserved person. But inside me, Im not reserved.
So, I wear a shirt and tie to work, but ride a motorcycle with a license plate that says PUNK and a big orange mohawk glued to my helmet... Thats my alter ego. A punk rocker who looks like a preppy person during the daylight hours. My avatar is another part of my alter ego - its says "Hey, Im a dumbas*!!! Look at me!!!" when in fact Im quite the opposite. ALthough Im certain a few people here would beg to differ...

Nope, I am an open book -- get accused of that too much. I speak my mind (with both barrels lol) I hate game playing and I just am who I am. (I want to clarify that I don't accuse you of game playing - just been around to many players)
Now, my beliefs and interests change with time, but my basic personality remains the same.
Have you never questioned that if you have to be 2 different people in front of 2 different groups - maybe something is wrong here? Unless you are talking like DelFuego or Norris about professional behavior or keeping your own thoughts private.

No, I am the same here as I am out in the physical world. I would say the same things, the only difference here is often the type of emotion behind it is hard to convey.

Nope, what you see here is what you get in reality - well the avatar is younger than I am and the goatee is not the same style.
