I mean, these crazy laughs which make us look "stupid" or "unpolite"...
What was your weirdest and funniest experience about that strange phenomenon?

Mine : I was a new employee in a company, and we were having a morning meeting in the office of the boss ( with 20 persons ). My mistake was just thinking about a joke that a friend had told me, and in the silence of the meeting I suddenly "exploded" into laughs, and everyone looked at me...I said " Sorry", I calmed down, but then it became really "mechanical", I started to laugh again, and some other people also began to laugh like crazy. We calmed down, but everytime we were watching each other *'s face we laughed again and again...We were even crying, with tears on our faces...Nobody knew why we were laughing, that was just absurd...

And of course, on day later , I was fired, and I knew why...

And you ?

Well, when I was at the university taking a neurology course for my biology degree. We had the option to take some extra credit lectures at an annual meeting of "The Tourettes Organization" so being the grade addict that I was my friend and I decided to go for the extra points.

It was at a hotel and I had carpooled with my friend. We got lost and were a little late but we made it to the meeting. We didn't know what to expect. When we got to the lecture hall, we walked in and all we saw were people with tourettes making noises and squeeking sounds.

So we started to go and sit down, well my friend said you have got to be kidding this is some kind of joke. I just started to laugh and so did he. What we did not know was that Tourettes is also uncontrolled laughing. So we were laughing so hard that we made a dash to get out of the lecture hall. and the door would not open out. We just kept laughing and finally collapsed due to our laughter. The lecturer stopped his speech and said to us not to be embarressed because it is just a disease which of course made us laugh even more.
We were dying of laughter, we just couldn't catch our breath and almost had to be carried out to the hall outside. Where we could finally catch our breath.

We felt so bad but we just couldn't stop laughing. Finally after the lecture we went over to apologize for interrupting the lecture and to get the brochure for our class credit. The lecturer asked us how long we had, had tourettes and how did it effect our lives, and I said ever since we got here, and we started laughing all over again.

I still think back and laugh about that day.

BTW, I know tourettes is a very seriuos neurological disorder. I apologize to anyone in advance. But it was so funny at the time and ever since.

Always. i can't tell only one:-)

edit: Manisaliibo:-) ok. First one coming to my mind.
I was at a meeting. Two of my colleagues have started to date but they didn't want to tell anyone. The chief started to make jokes like everybody is single in the group because we work a lot and finally we will all end up together.
In my mind i was thinking "damn he is right " and i started to look at the colleagues and with a little (secret smile) and then i don't know why i started to laugh and then i couldn't stop laughing.
I started to hear people "she got nervous because she doesn't want to end up with any of us". And i was looking at the chief's face he looked like "what a joke i made, am i funny or what"
These sentences and the look on the face of my chief made me laugh more and more. Finally i started to have tears in my eyes.I went out of the office. And continued laughing...

When I was younger I was watching, "Whose Line is it Anyway?" and they cracked this really funny joke that I can't even remember. I was in the room with my mom and she was reading a book. I didn't want to laugh, because she told me to keep quiet while she was reading. So, I ran out of the room and tried holding in my laugh as I went downstairs. My ears felt like they were going to burst. I went downstairs and laughed for atleast 10 minutes. When I went back upstairs my mom thought I was weird for having to leave the room just to laugh =)

I do this all the time, anything can make me laugh.
I used to work in a call centre and my colleagues used to try to make me laugh when I was on the telephone to customers. I had to hang up on people so many times because I was laughing so much that I couldn't speak.

Oh, Dear..

There are so many..Which one should I choose?

In University, at a very serious class - Law of Constitution- one of my friends told me a joke about the current Prime Minister. The older ones will remember Akbulut and the jokes about him ;).

We started giggling, he managed to stop before he got the attention of our serious Professor who served as a Minister later....

Well, I couldn't.

Actually my giggles turned into loud laughter every time I looked at my class mate. Finally it got the attention of the Professor. He called me to the front and asked what this is all about. Being the honest !!! student, I told him I was laughing to a joke and he wanted to hear as well- he said he would like to share the laughter.. I fell to that smart trick, told the joke , everybody laughed including him and when everybody calmed down he told me to leave the classroom and I am not welcomed to his classed any more........

Do I have to tell you that I failed from that class... twice ?

:D

Unfortunatelly yes :-)

One night i was sitting in my room in the dorm, and my funny(!) friend told a terrible joke to me.He is always telling me disgusting jokes and normally i'm used to hearing this kind of jokes but that night i was sleepy so i lost myself :-) i'm laughing again and again!!! i'm crying, screaming because od laughing :-) i'm rolling on the floor, but i just can't stop it! it was 1a.m and most of the guys were sleeping,my laughing screams woke them up! They started to kicking the walls and swearing but even this situation couldn't stop me! i was tired of laughing and run out of breathe,at that moment the headmaster of the dorm entered the room angrily,i stopped for 5 seconds by the affect of the adrenalin but i couldn't even stop near the headmaster! The style of my crazy laughs made him smile too :-) but i couldn't look into his eyes because of being embarrassed for a month :/

Why might u supply up guffawing. guffawing is healthful and robust for anybody. I propose i will get fantastically loud whilst i'm happy and that i snort as lots and as loud as i desire. no person will supply up me. I propose i like boys who snort and constantly smiling thats what Makes them look large. So save smiling and be cool.be happy.
