This morning i started up my 94 F 150 and for half a second there was a click but it started right up so I didnt think anything of it. After class, I started it up again, no problems but my pretuned settings on my radio were back to stock and the clock as well. I'm just wondering what that might be, any help is appreciated.

there's a problem with your battery connection. if all your presets reset then that means your battery wasn't connected at some point, that is also what caused the hesitation to start. you might have a loose connection or old wires.

Battery or fuse problem. If your settings on the radio were reset that means that the computer lost power for a while and needed to be preset. I would look at your terminals first, sometimes the connections get acid and the acid can be cleaned with water and baking soda. Hope this helps.

There is a short in either your streering column or in the fuse box. This has happened to me also. If you have an aftermarket stereo I would also check out all the connections and make sure they are all connected well and that there is no bare wires to ground out to the chassis.

Have you cleaned your battery terminals lately? You could have a battery that is going bad. I would also check out the voltage from the alternator.

good luck.
