Adam and Eve did not have two sons; they had many (Gen 5:4). They married sisters for the first few generations. That is taboo today, but not then. There are few reasons behind this:
1. No other options.
2. The Law was not yet written.
3. No genetic problems. If Adam came straight from the hand of God do you think he would have been created with heart problems?
4. After a few generations there are more to select from. Marrying your sister would not be necessary.
5. You can't report them to the police officer; he married his sister, too!
The human body is in such a state of decline that it would be genetic suicide to marry anything closer than your second cousin. Conditions were different then. I hope this answers your question.

We must remember that our brains have suffered from 6,000 years of the Curse. We have greatly degenerated compared to people many generations ago. We may be nowhere near as intelligent or inventive as Adam and Eve's children. Scripture gives us a glimpse of what appears to be advanced technology almost from the beginning.
Adam and Eve were created perfect. The more closely related 2 people are, the more likely it is that they will have similar mistakes in their genes, inherited from the same parents. Therefore, borther and sister are likely to ahve similar mistakes in their genetic material. If there were to be a union between these 2 that produce offspring, children would inherit one set of genes from each of their parents. Because the genes probably have similar mistakes, the mistakes pair together and result in deformities in the children.
Conversely, the further away the parents are in relationship to each other, the more likely it is that they will have different mistakes in their genes. Children, inheriting one set of genes from ea. parent are likely to end up with some of the pairs of genes containing only one bad gene in each pair. The good gene tends to override the bad so that a deformity (a serious one, anyway) does not occur. Instead of having totally deformed ears, for instance, a person may have only crooked ones. (Overall, though, the human race is slowly degenerating as mistakes accumulate generation after generation.)
This did not apply to Adam and Eve. Everything God made was "very good."
Forbidding brother and sister marriage was not given until the time of Moses.
Josephus wrote, "The number of Adam's children, as says the old tradition, was thirty-three sons and twenty-three daughters." Adam lived 930 years.
Brothers and sisters married in the beginning.

Adam and Eve actually had two sons, and each son has a twin. Guess what, the twins for both sons were girls..!
(Nonidentical twins may be in different sex).
That's how they reproduce and us created, here, today.

It's a myth - Adam means man and Eve means woman in ancient Hebrew. What is more important is not the facts it supposedly relates but the fundamental truth it conveys. The Bible is true - and some of it actually happened. This just isn't one of those things.

Adam and Eve had three sons that were directly mentioned, but at that point, the genetics of the human race were "pure," so incest would not cause the genetic problems it does today. However, once the population of the earth was large enough, incest was NOT acceptable. Read Leviticus and see the restrictions on sexual relations.

There were a lot more children than Cain and Able. Read your Bible again, and figure it out for yourself.
