Yes.

Of course we could destroy them and there would be no more issue.

Saudi Arabia, North Korea and Iran are NOT terrorist countries. I have family in Saudi Arabia and my family are not terrorists. They respect life. Without Saudi Arabia the USA would be bankrup since Saudi provides most of the oil that USA uses. Iran is not a threat to anyone. North Korea has weapons to protect themselves from attack if the USA decides to go bomb them or invade their country and same with Iran.

Hello,

Not at all. It is against the whole spirit of the Olympics to do this. The idea was that the worst of enemies could get together under the blessing of the Greek gods and settle their egos on the playing field rather than the battle field.

Start this boycotting business and you may as well shut the Olympics down forever.

Cheers,

Michael Kelly

Surely the question should be should we boycott the Olympics because of China's appalling human rights record

As Christians God did not tell us to avoid those in sin but to preach to the world truth and light by our actions and if need be with words. How can one influence by avoidance? The people who come are not those in charge but merely people living under dictators.

The point of the Olympics is to promote international understanding and a sense of community. It may be appropriate to grumble but boycotting it ruins the whole purpose. It would only be our loss, I don't think anyone else would be sad about it.

Since the US is the biggest terrorist of them all, that would keep everyone else from having to boycott our participation.

Sure why not. I boycott NASCAR because it's a bunch of cars driving around in circles.

No, the Olympics and terrorism are not even related.

Then again that will just make more medals for Canada to win if you are from the Us.
