Our video player keeps playing black and white,Any ideas?

Mine did that, the dvd player too. It was a faulty scart lead (it had just got old). It may be worth a try although the problem might be more complex.

Hi. I would double check your cables and maybe try another hookup (cable instead of yellow video jack) just to see what happens.
