Looking for Church name ideas for renaming our Church. Three parishes will be merged to one. The current three parish names are: St. Joseph, St. Mary's, and Sacred Heart Church. Looking for ideas to make one new Church name. Thank you.

Joseph, Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus. . . How about Holy Family Catholic Parish?

Since there are three parishes merging into one, the name could in some way elude to the Trinity. Holy Trinity Parish or something like that.

Holy Family.

That's St. Joseph, St. Mary and Jesus (which covers the Sacred Heart of Jesus) all in one.

If you already have a Holy Family parish in town, I would go with Sacred Heart, Blessed Sacrament, or Holy Spirit.

Holy Family should be your new church name ... but I doubt this 'merger' is 'real' ... but I'm sorry, St. Joseph was Jesus' father, St. Mary was his mother, and 'Sacred Heart' is the Sacred Heart of Jesus, so the ONLY 'new name' should be Holy Family.

As a Protestant, I always admired the people who went to the Catholic Church. They were, in the main, decent godfearing people.

Most unlike their Priests, who I always found to be very abrasive people.

I don't have a suggestion for your church name, but I wish you the best and am sure your choice with be a good one.
