I saw a T-shirt once that had a gun barrel pointed outward on it and it said "Feeling suicidal? Take someone with you."
It creeped me out.

I don't think so. I saw this report (it's been awhile so I can't remember where or when) but this guy said he was taken from his family, around the time he was 15, out in a military-type school (except he wasn't allowed to see his family again) and taught that the best way to 'honor' his family was to do this. He said they did that kind of 'training' to everyone. He chickened out at the last minute and somehow was rescued by some Americans before the 'others' could get to him.
So, I don't think the majority of them are suicidal-it seems they're trained to do...to be helpful to their family.

It doesn't sound like it, from interviews of the ones who failed in their missions or were caught before they had the chance...

No, they were told of a heaven where they will be rewarded. Everything they can't have here is there. Everything a "man" could want!!!!

I don't think so.
I mean, killing people isn't exactly my idea of "style".
