I got a bump on the side of my right ear, its not on the left one, and i tried popping it, so it's not an acne either. Its been there for about 1-2 weeks now and its still the same size ( -- ) About the size of the 2 "--" .

Is that a lymph node and a sign of cancer, or?

How old are you my friend? Cancers of the ear are kind of rare, rarer for the pinna or your ear itself. If it's the size of 2 "--" it's going to be small for a Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy. Two weeks is too early to tell if the "bump" is benign or malignant by the way it grows. Usually cancers will not be red or will be swollen. Popping any "bumps" just allows for infection. Wrong move, there. Suggestion: Go to your Otorhinolaryngologist or Surgeon. Have it excised or removed and have it biopsied. That should give you peace of mind.

DO NOT TRY to "POP" IT! Forget needle aspiration. Skin cancer is usually suspected by usually color(blue/purple), asymmetry, If its red and irritated its most likely a staff infection, a normal skin bacteria), Soap and water with a liitle antibiotic ointment should do the trick, If its hard and painless it may be a viral wart which usually will heal over time.
Any pimple or blister on skin is a immune system response, "Popping" will introduce bacteria to subcutaneous tissue and blood supply which may result in serious infection, especially with the many antibiotic resistant strains about. I've seen many cases on on job in hospital. Not a lymph node,

You should see a doctor to be sure but I have a small bump on the side of my ear and it is just a cyst. See a doc to make for sure though.

I am not a doctor, but I play one on Yahoo Answers! LOL
The older you get the more bumps will appear. Odds are its just a fatty cyst. But if you are truely concerned, why on earth are you asking about it here? I cant see you, I dont know your lifestyle and I certainly am not a doctor. You need to just go in and have them take a look-see at you.

It probably is a cyst, but why ignore it? You are already thinking of cancer and you will continue to worry about it. Get it checked and taken care of and you will be able to move on.

That is likely a very tiny cyst, which is of little of no concern.

I would not rush out for needle biopsy. Keep track of it and if it gets bigger go see a Dr. and have it checked out.
