Some people will never understand and don't want to. They're not worth worrying about. The ones who can begin to understand, who begin to reach out, they're the ones that can learn and grow. They need to be encouraged.
And what a wonderful video. I'd never heard of this singer, but he's wonderful - his sound makes me think of Paul Simon. I'm going to be watching ALL his videos on YouTube and if I can find his CD in the States I'm getting it.

It saddens me in a way... but I stay hopeful too.
There are a lot of people, myself included, who "just don't understand" something important because their minds are just not ready for it yet. Maybe there's some block that has to be worked through first, but no matter how plainly you put it, they "don't understand."
But I've seen people who wouldn't understand today, starting to understand tomorrow.
The message of love an acceptance is simple as it can be, but until the haters let go of their hate and come out from their narrow prisons, they just don't understand.
