eaitng plenty of veggies light on side but eating tons of rice with butter for meals be okay with light butter and pepper and salt sea salt

It seems to work for Billions in China...I don't think they use the butter.

wild rice or brown rice are complex carbohydrates and carry a lot of nourishment. If you are talking white rice however, that is purely a simple carb and will only cause weight gain.
