My daughter's friend made her shower cake. It was like a Barbie doll, the cake was her dress. Looked like a 6 year old's birthday cake, but it was sweet of her to go to the trouble. The funny thing was, my daughter never liked playing with dolls, and never even had a Barbie. And her daughter is the same way. It's all ponies and pet shop for us now :-)

(I know this is off topic, but I just had to share!)

i saw one that said "congratulations Jessica...this is the best mistake you have ever made" it was very funny and made me do a double take..i just hope the bride had a sense of humor about it (it was meant to be a joke the people werent trying to be douchebags) i also saw one that said "for better or for worse..and trust us..with Jim there will be alot of worse" i thought that was pretty funny but then again the bride may not be so amused (luckily my co worker has a very good sense of humor)

if u wanted some tongue in cheek humor u could write "its not too late to change ur mind" or sumthin like that if ur close enough to the bride..u dont want her to be offended or insulted!!

Why not cupcakes frosted in the colors of the wedding and then put a little piece of tulle on each one to symbolize the veil?

Then you could frost the bride's cupcake in white...
