It's an angel in the center of my back. It's starting to blur, it wasn't done well, and I want to get something done better. How hard is it to cover a tattoo?

it is not really hard to do cover ups. just keep in mind that what you choose to use as your cover up. needs to be as big or bigger than your current tattoo and they will need to use darker colors. also they will need to be able to use the lines of you old tattoo in the pattern of the new one. So get your idea of what you want and go to you tattooist. Show them what you want covered and see what they say. You might have to look around not all tattooist do cover up work. or do it well so make sure you ask the to see some of their cover up work. Before you get it done good luck,

it really depends on the tattoo you have and how talented your artist is. the FIRST thing you should do is research artists and find the one that suits you best. also make sure that they are talented and well practiced at doing coverup tattoos. not all artists are able to do them well and you don't want one crappy tattoo replaced with another one.

a good artist will also let you know if what you are asking for is not possible or if it won't look right.

i can't say for sure but i would guess that your tattoo would be able to be covered up fairly easily, the ones that are harder are ones with large pieces of black in them.

good luck!

Its depends on where go and the artist. I have a friend that had his done and if you see his tattoo you would never guess that it was a cover up of a old one.

Depends on what colors were used, and what colors you want to cover them with. Most tattoo artists will try to use what colors you have in a cover up.

The key to getting a good cover up is to see someone whose had alot of experience, and has cover-ups in their portfolios at the studio. I've seen some really fantastic ones where you con't tell at all what was previously there.

It's a little harder to do because it's a cover-up and the new colors need to blend with the old.
