run run run. pick a sport and play that sport. try to have fun playing that sport because its better if you loose weight having fun. if you could care less about having fun. situps is the best way to go

I Walk At Least 10km Per Day And Don't Always Eat Regular Meals. I Lost About 6cm Off My Waste That Way But It Wasn't That Quick. The Main Thing Is I Walk Just About Everywhere I Go And Find It Is A Good Way To Stay In Shape. If You Do Some Form Of Exercise That Raises Your Heart Rate Significantly For Around Half An Hour A Day And Combine It With Cutting Sugary Food Out Of Your Diet Eating More Veggies And If You Drink Or Smoke Stopping? This Will All Lead To Some Weight Loss And You Will Feel The Benefits In Other Ways Too.

There are some good answers on here. I would just like to add hypnosis. I saw a special on Tv where different people were put on different methods and the person who had hypnosis lost the most the fastest. Look in your yellow pages under hypnosis or medical or physicians, or whatever. I would anticipate it costing $60+ per session. Make sure you eat healthy though and get proper hydration, you don't want to literally kill yourself. I would add running as my choice of exercise in this endeavor. Running outside on gently rolling terrain as fast as you can for as far as you can- seriously. Be careful of pain in your knees though. You have to be mindful of your joints or you will be limping around in pain for weeks if you mess your knees up. So if you start to feel a sharp pain in your knees stop immediately for the day. A pain like you have had an ice pick stabbed in there. Some pain is natural, but be careful of pushing yourself too hard. Someone said they skip a meal now and then, I would like to agree with that and add, find some exciting books to read or do something that will keep you distracted from wanting to eat so much. Whenever you are really engaged in something the time passes and hunger is less of an issue. When you're bored, it's a big issue. Someone mentioned walking. You have to walk a lot in a day to make a difference fast, say like 7 miles a day, I'm speaking from experience. I would get up early in the morning and walk three miles. At lunch I would walk 2 miles, and after work another 2 miles. You could do the same thing by running 4 miles a day and takes less time, maybe the same amount of determination though because running at a good clip say 8-9mph is no fun for me, so the walking idea is a good one.

I don't suggest that you attempt to lose any weight quickly. Chances are you did not gain this unwanted weight over night or within a few weeks...so you should not expect to shed this weight in that amount of time.
If you are able to lose a lot of weight in a short period of time, you are probably harming your body in the process.

Take the weight loss one step at a time. Try a combination of strength training and cardio exercises. Get a really good workout in anywhere from 3-4 x per week.
Modify your diet. Stop eating junk food - sugars, fats, empty calories. Stop drinking soda. Increase your water intake and also that of your fruits and vegetables. Fibre is good. Only eat lean cuts of meat - chicken, fish and turkey are much better for your than beef and pork. Also, make sure that your meat is not fried. Eat it grilled, broiled, boiled or baked.
After a while, you should see some results.

Figure up how many calories you eat currently in one day, and cut that in at least half, write down everything you eat in one day I mean everything and make sure you stay within your calorie goal this will keep you aware of it. Also walk walk walk fast but not jogging and somewhere with some incline is best, that's how I lost 75 lbs in 4 months, it can be done it ain't easy though you gotta want it more than anything.

kara said" Don't eat and if you do throw it up(fastest) Consuming less calories then you burn=most reliable, healthiest simplest, as long as you stay on it you will be on the right track." both ideas are VERY DUMB. not eating is considered anorexia. anorexia is soooo very unhealthy for your body and will make its 20xs harder for you to lose weight in the future because it really messes with you metabolism. then purging after you eat is even worse! Bulimia destroys your body in so many different ways and also makes it harder to lose weight in the future because it messes with your metabolism. hardly eating anything and then working out a ton is horrible for your body also and you will be in no state of mind to have a wedding if your doing this because your body wont have anything left to function. i think the best solution is to just eat as healthy as you can and cut out all sugars except in fresh fruit. Also get a regular work out.

I'm in the same boat as you :( all i have to say is dont try ALLI
it doesn't work!! but I'm sure you will get a lot of this..."a well balanced diet and excercise will be go0d" blah its easier said then done!!
