BENEFITS OF SPAY/NEUTER FOR CATS AND DOGS
• Benefits of Spaying (females):
• No heat cycles, therefore males will not be attracted
• Less desire to roam
• Risk of mammary gland tumors, ovarian and/or uterine cancer is reduced or eliminated, especially if done before the first heat cycle
• Reduces number of unwanted cats/kittens/dogs/puppies
• Helps dogs and cats live longer, healthier lives
• Benefits of Neutering (males):
• Reduces or eliminates risk of spraying and marking
• Less desire to roam, therefore less likely to be injured in fights or auto accidents
• Risk of testicular cancer is eliminated, and decreases incidence of prostate disease
• Reduces number of unwanted cats/kittens/dogs/puppies
• Decreases aggressive behavior, including dog bites
• Helps dogs and cats live longer, healthier lives

well done you should do one with spay/neuter facts and myths!!
or stupid reasons why people choose not to spay/neuter.
(ie:"i want my children to experience the mircle or life. "~rent them a movie!!!!)

I have 4 cats and 1 dog and all were spayed/neutered at the age of 6 months.

Yes I did know, thank you for reminding me!

My dad's dog experienced the "desire to roam," as most unneutered males do, but after he got neutered apparently he'd jump the fence, then wonder why he just did it.

Everyone needs to read this and then have their pets done!!
My senior female was done at 1 yr of age and my new boxer pup that is 8 months was neutered at 4 months . Best thing for both of them, no humping, no marking everything in sight.. its great and my boxer still squats like a girl to pee..

I love posts like this one, yes I did know and all of my animals are altered. Its great to see someone on here trying to educate others rather than giving nasty or negative answers. Kudos to you!
