I am 5 feet and 24 and I am around 128lbs.I am not wanting to be super skinny so I am alright with that weight however losing a few pounds is not a bad idea either.Anyhow I am wanting to know if anyone could suggest some good workouts that will help me tone up a bit.I am an hr glass shape but for the most part most of my weight is in my butt and legs.I would really like to tone up my legs so I will feel good enough to wear shorts.I just seem to have some fat around my knees and thats gross! Also my arms used to be 15 1/2 inches after losing weight they are now 11 1/2 so im needing to tone those up as well..Thanks!

Some simple exercises will tone you up in no time. You just have to stick to it and be religious about eating healthy foods...I DIDN'T SAY DIET FOOD. Healthy.

There are some simple work out ideas on our free home web page. Check them out, you might like one or two of the ideas.

You're going to hear a lot of answers concerning your question but according to any Orthopedic Dr. worth his salt swimming is by far the safest way to burn off a few lbs. and tone up every muscle from your fingertips to your toes. You didn't include your age but believe me if you join your schools swim team and or change strokes every ten laps you'll see a difference within a week.
Running eventually will pound your feet and spine to death. Under the supervision of an orthopedic Dr. a gym club may have proper resistance equipment to help also.
Do not rely on some guy at a desk in a gym club to help you as free weights are dangerous, ask your Orthopedist about this.

One the bike. Pedal for 30 minutes. Make it in reps of 4 minutes at an average speed and then 1 minute as fast as you can go. You will feel it and it will tone.
