in all the reports I do not recall hearing the religion of any victim, so how do you know that no jewish person was killed?

First, how do you get the figure of 5,000? It seems high to me, would around 9% of the workers there really be jews?

Here is one article I found about the claim.

"The Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem has so far received the names of 4,000 Israelis believed to have been in the areas of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon at the time of the attack. The list is made up of people who have not yet made contact with friends or family, Army Radio reported. Telephone connections between Israel and the New York City and Washington, D.C. areas has been sporadic and unreliable since the multiple attacks yesterday".
Jerusalem Post story on September 12th:

So it's clear this figure isn't just people who work at the WTC, or even the WTC and the Pentagon. It's just a guess, based on families who have relatives nearby (perhaps just visiting New York or Washington, or touring the US and may have been in the area), and who haven't heard from them yet. Which, given the overwhelmed telephone system, is no surprise at all, and was matched in other countries (a UK help line for anxious relatives received over 20,000 calls about potentially missing family members

The article confirms the general nature of the calls later, with a quote from the New York Times:

"For example, the city had somehow received reports of many Israelis feared missing at the site, and President Bush in his address to the country on Thursday night mentioned that about 130 Israelis had died in the attacks. But Friday, Alon Pinkas, Israel's consul general here, said that lists of the missing included reports from people who had called in because, for instance, relatives in New York had not returned their phone calls from Israel.

There were, in fact, only three Israelis who had been confirmed as dead: two on the planes and another who had been visiting the towers on business and who was identified and buried".

Actually, that's not true at all. The Jewish community was *heavily* affected by this tragedy. Of the victims whose religion was known (about 1,700), at least 10% percent were Jewish.

76 Jews were killed in the collapse of the World Trade Center alone.

The rumour that 4,000 Jews were not at work that day started when an Israeli newspaper reported that at least 4,000 Israeli nationals were known to be in the area that day. There's a big difference there.

Osama bin Laden's videotaped confessions have made it very clear that he was behind the attacks.

What on earth makes you think you know the religion of every single person killed? How rediculous. Take off the white sheet and look around you every once in a while.

Maybe God warned them. Seriously, I don't think a study was done on the religious beliefs of all the survivors or those who were absent that day. I think you are wrong.

You've got to be f'n kidding me. One of my Hebrew school mates was killed in the 9/11 attacks. She went there on an interview that day.

You ought to be ashamed of yourself for believing and spreading propaganda. May your life be long and painful.

Over 400 were killed.

Some others have called you a conspiracy theorist but its worse than that, isn't it?

You're an ignorant Muslim taught from a young age to hate the Jewish. You're pathetic.

I believe your assumption that no jews were among the dead is completely wrong. There was one major company that lost a huge number of employees, and they would have been almost all Jewish people. Your "statistics" or "facts" are in error.

Why are you so gullible? Some Jew-hater friend of yours says it, so you believe it?

Read the list - I see quite a few Jewish names on it.

What is wrong with you, that you can be so cruel as to say things like this?
Are you a member of the KKK? They spew this kind of hatred!

WOW! You really take the cake!
