I have been taking zoloft for almost 2 months now for anxiety. I can not find my bottle of medicine. This is the second day I have not taken it. My eyes feel almost like they are heavy and I feel very sad(almost like when you are tired). Is it true if I make too much out of not taking it, it will be worse then if I think it's not that big of a problem? Should I call my doctor and would she be able to get me a new bottle of the prescription? I am totally embarassed that I lost it.

Call your doctor and your pharmacy. Explain the situation to them. (YOU ARE NOT the first person this has happened too.) Your doctor can call in a new Rx and your pharmacy will fill it. Your doctor may have to make a special call to your insurance company to see if they will cover it.

The side effects you're describing are all common of Zoloft withdrawal.

Losing a bottle or misplacing it where you can't locate it is not a big deal. Problem is only if some children can get hold of the bottle since they may take the pills without knowing what they are taking. Explain to the doctor and get a new prescription filled in.

Think of alternative systems of healing also.

Call your doc,he/she may be able to give you samples if your insurance does not cover the early refill. I used to work at a pharmacy and most insurances do not cover it if you lose the RX. Zoloft is a pretty expensive medication.

Your doc can call in another RX, worst case scenario you would have to pay cash for however many pills you need until your insurance will pay for it again.

I TOTALLY agree with "swamy" (I hope I got your name correct) Great advice!
