You have cleaned the litter box right? Maybe completely change it… Your cat will get out of this phase. Patience is the key. I would definitely get her spayed.

My cat started doing that a couple weeks ago! I took him to the vet and there wasn't anything wrong with him, they said it was a behavioral thing. I did a couple of things and it stopped. I had a hooded kitty litter box, and I took the top off, I started scooping it twice a day instead of just once. Another thing it could be is stress. I had been working longer hours and my boyfriend and I were argueing a lot more. We figured it was the argueing and me being gone more than usual. Don't scold her. It will only make you think that your mad at her (Which you are) but in the long run it will only make it worse!! Good luck!

I think once she comes home from being spayed the problem should go away. To make sure you should treat all the spots outside the box where she went to get rid of the smell. Also clean her litter box and the vet should give you special litter to use while she is healing from her surgery. Good Luck!

Cats wont use their tray if there is even sometimes only one wee or poop in there. Make sure the tray is cleaned out after each time it is used and like others have said persevere!!

maybe she is being spiteful, my cat pisses on the wal only if it is getting pissed, such as when a new strange animal comes in the house. or if were haveing a party and he has to go and there are too many people for him.

Yes she is. Until she's spayed, you may want to confine her in a room where she can do only minimal damage.

Firstly, get it fixed, if the problem persists, she could be having a urinary tract infection. had the same experience once.
