when you meet someone and start seeing them, and all they talk about is their ex, it means they are not over their ex.
so you are around only because this guy wants to prove he is still loveable... when he gets his fill of that, he'll be gone.
talking about your ex's isn't a good topic in a relationship... some things are better left unsaid...
and this relationship with you and your "boyfriend" sounds more like a competition than a relationship

If it was bothering you that he spoke of his ex-girlfriend, you should have quickly put a stop to it. There is no reason for him to constantly bring her up. That just shows he still misses her. But instead of telling him to stop bc it bothers you, you went and I guess tried to give him a taste of his own medicine, by telling stories of your exes. Ok, nothing to wrong with that, but to tell him you were promiscuos wasnt THAT smart, bc you been together only 7 months and u cant even tell him to stop something tht is bothering u. I think you need to tell him how you notice him acting differently towards you and your sorry that wat u said bugged him, BUT you only did it bc he was talking about his ex so much. Tell him you figured it was ok for you to speak of the past. And if he doesnt want to hear of your past, its not a great relationship. Couples should be able to speak of any and everything together without judging or getting mad and acting different. Good Luck!

The both of you must be under 18.
Yes its wrong to talk about past relationships. I dont care what anybody else tells you. Take it from me. Its dumb stupid and awkward. Both of you need to let go of the past and live the present. Youl avoid, jealousy, anger and alot of fights.
take care build new memories and enjoy each other.

Sounds like a match made in heaven...bleh. He's going on and on about his ex, trying to make you jealous. Then you go and turn the tables on him instead of telling him outright that it makes you uncomfortable. Now, he's annoyed. Good going in your communication skills.

hmmm.. maybe you did do something just a little bit.. [ sri ] because i've been through this and i bet i did much worse than you did >.< well, maybe since he's talking about his ex, b\why dont you just tell him how much it's hurting you, and tell him this, " do you love me more than your ex?" this may make you sound jealous but maybe just tell him how you really feel about him telling you all those stories; those sotries are making you feel like a bad girlfriend
( just don't want it happening to someone esle, hope it works out, don't end up like me, my mistake =] )

It goes both ways, your current boyfriend/girlfriend doesn't want to hear about your past relationships.

it's normal to feel jealous of your boyfriends ex. especially if he tlaks about her constantly. you need to confront him about this, tell him how much it bothers you, and how unfair it is.
