well, for starters your not going to be able to get one that is that young, they need to be with their mom till they are 8-12 weeks old.

go to an animal shelter and see who picks you out.

not sure what the adoption price will be but for the most part it will include the first shots and most places will give you a voucher for a free first vet visit. you will need to get the kitten to the vet with in a week to have it checked out and all and you will be responciable for any other vaccinations etc. most places will have in their adoption price a deposit for spay/neuter that you will get that money back when you show proof that you have spayed/neutered your kitten.

you will have to budget for the cost of a litter box, litter, QUALITY food, bowls, toys, scratch post, etc. go around and price those things.

start saving for an emergency you never know if your kitten will get sick when you are low on money or get injured. so if you start a savings account for emergencies you know you will have some money and your kitten won't have to go without the care it needs.

Most of all since you are so young, make sure your parents are alright with you getting a kitten and you do enough research to know how to properly take care of this kitten. have fun doing searching online.

If you can find a free kitten you will have to pay for vaccinations (Once every month for 3 months then one at 6 months if I remember correctly. Each time is approximately $45 (here in Canada)). You should then get the cat spayed or neutered which costs another $100 or so. Then consider food, litter, etc…. Owning a pet is a lot of responsibility. But it’s well worth it. I love my cat dearly.

That's cute... you can't get a kitten that young they have to be about 6-8 weeks old before they can leave there mum because they need to drink her milk... you could probably get a kitten for free and then you just need to buy it food and your alright.. and of course if you want to keep it healthy you should take it to the vet to get vaccinated which would probably cost a bit.. and de-sexed if its a female so it cant have kittens.

a day 1 kitten will be dead by day 2 - you cannot take them safely from mom until 6-8 weeks of age.
Get one from the RSPCA - its better in the long run they will be vet checked first - otherwise you can get a free one but it will cost you alot for vet check, deworming, etc.

will your mum let you have a kitten?? if not - dont get one becuase in 6 years you will be moving out and many places wont let you bring a cat so what will happen to it if mum doesnt want to keep it/???

NEVER get kittens from pet stores... you pay too much for lowest quality

Like human beings say, it relies upon plenty on what style of cat that's. If that's a user-friendly housecat, i might advise adopting one from a glance after extremely of determining to purchase for one (until the present proprietor is an buddy or acquaintance of yours and you desire to help them). If that's a purebred cat, it relies upon on the breed (strategies you, whether the owner says that's a purebred cat, it regrettably basically counts as a housecat until you have a pedigree). Our kitten is a Cornish Rex, and over here they value between $625-750 (approximate foreign places money conversion). British Shorthair is, i think of, the coolest value purebred cat, and others, like the hairless Sphynx, tend to value as much as $1875-2000.

If you are going to adopt a kitten, you probably need to wait until it's weaned from its mother, so you'd want a kitten who was 6-8 weeks old... they need mother's milk and care for their good health.

If you call a veterinarian, you will find out approximately how much it would cost for a first appointment, shots and worm medicine, if needed.

And if you are going on a trip somewhere, maybe wait until after the trip before you adopt a kitty.
good luck!!

You can't have a kitten until they are atleast 6-8 weeks old. They can't be away from their mothers until this age. You should look up taking care of kittens on google. Taking care of an animal is a big responsibility.
