The world stood by and let it happen, not one country in this world raised a hand to stop the murder of those peaceful demonstrators.
I hope the Buddhist leaders in Burma refuse religious services to any person now in the Burmese Army. The families must show proof of that before any religious service. Is performed for those that violated the WATS and the Monks that serve the Burmese people. that all have great faith, in the Lord Buddha.,

bush will do nothing, laura is the point man on this, that tells you how far on the back burner this really is for bush.
they will kill a couple thousand or so, they have already squashed the marchers, so that might be the end of it for another 20 years or so
the world will turn thier attention to other matters and this will fade away like most nasty things people reallly dont want to deal with
there is lots of oil in Myanmar, but the Chinese control most of it while India, Thailand and Singapore fight for the scraps.

President Bush does NOT have to take action to resolve another countries internal problems, the USA has not been designated World Super Cops as far as I know.

Myanmar/Burma is just a diversion tactic from Bush to take the heat of his Iraq policy for a moment (likely Cheney's idea). Nothing whatsoever will happen. Soon, Bush will have a new diversion tactic for the uneducated masses.

It has been going on for over 30 years. No one cares since the Burma rulers only screw their own and do not invade other countries like Saddam did. Maybe if they claimed to be building WMD's and had oil, we'd go kick them out.
