I'm from Malaysia and we dont learn Spanish...
I've read these words in The Mediator by Meg Cabot...
What does those words mean ?

querida = dear (+ girl name)

nombre de díos = in the name of god // oh my god

Querida means a sweetheart or a darling.
Nombre de Dios is a town on the atlantic coast of Panama in the Colon Province.

querida means loved one - it is also used when writing to a friend or relative where we put "Dear". (Spanish speakers think it strange that we don't use different words for formal and informal relationships.)

as they say "Nombre de Dios" means "Name of God"

it could used for example as in "En nombre de Dios" or "In God's name"
