You really need to do your homework when it comes to dog breeding. Get every book you can lay your hands on and read them several times over. There are many things that can go wrong, even with the mating act itself so you need to be throughly prepared.

How do you know they are ready to mate?by the time you have read your emails it will be to-late it seems the male is inexperienced I would just forget it for the present moment.

from what I've heard a friend of mine is a breeder if he can't do it himself you have to get in there and help, i know it doesn't sound nice, but you should only have to do it once. i suppose it depends on how much you want pups.
