Matthew 7:21
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."

So, what do you think the will of the Father is?

Give me your opinion.

This is a topic I could really get into.... but there's not enough room, so I will only cover one aspect... Salvation.

John 6:39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

JohN 3:27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.

Rom 11:31-32 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

Unbelief is against God's will.

1 Tim 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of ALL men, specially of those that believe.

Belief in HIS Son, is God's Will... The Will of The Father is to Save ALL. And His Will, WILL be done, whether people believe it or not.

Read this vs in your Bible to get the whole context:
1 Tim 2:4 Who will have ALL men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

I agree. A lot of people call themselves Christians on this forum when they couldn't be further from the truth. The will of the Father is to rid the world of ALL wickedness and those who lie calling themselves Christians when they are nothing more than a droning drum spewing hypocrisy. I think God wants for good people to live in peace and harmony and so many who think they stand are in deep doodoo because they are braggarts and boasters and liars.

God's purposes still stand in spite of what senseless critics of this sickening civilization say or do. “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Once have I sworn by my holiness: I will not lie unto David: his seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me. It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as the faithful witness in the sky.” (Psalms 89:34-37) The hypocrite is surely despised and easily outwitted.

Is thinking allowed here, because I had a thought?
Christ's geneology in Luke starts with Adam, son of God. That means we're all His decendents, His sons. So when Jesus says, if you do it to the least of mine, you do it to me, I suspect that at least His spirit is right there working in the one we would offend and to trash anyone is to offend the any holy spirit they may have, rather than working with any good spirit they may have and helping. We really can be opposing an ongoing work of the spirit. Then absolutely loving the person, and not all their ideas, seems to support the spirit's work have a great transforming effect on me and I then feel all the fruit of the spirit. If love fulfills the law and we are to think on whatever is good, absolute compliance seems to be, well, wonderful. His will is to love in truth and indeed. What a great feeling that gives you. Doesn't love have anything to do with feelings like, happiness, love, joy, peace, patience, meekness, mildness, faith and self control? You seem to get them all with love. As a package, as fruit is singular, one fruit. As if obeying that one commandment fullfills them all. I can't help but add that using only positive, nonjudgmental words seems to change my whole character to thinking only what is good, loving, true and of good report and gives me control of emotions, instead of vice versa. I think I want to take love over judgment. And it's funny too, your judgment actually improves. I have to suspect the spirit is puting the new ideas and feelings that come into my thoughts, rather then my same old thoughts and judgmental words.. I don't think the spirit can work with those.

Judas was a hypocrite that is, a person who pretends to be what he is not, someone who hides his bad motives behind a mask of sincerity. The Greek word rendered “hypocrite” means “one who answers” and also denotes a stage actor. In time, the word came to refer to anyone who was simply putting on an act in order to deceive others.

I don't think God wants these ones in the earth at all!

John 6:39 -- This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.

Though this is the directive for Jesus, those of us who are his brothers and sisters who love him, would want to see him succeed, and therefore, we would help him in any way we can to achieve that goal.

And in order to do that, we should do our best to obey the commandments and teach others to do likewise.

Do you know the Lord`s Prayer? It is "All" there.

Our Father Who art in Heaven
Holy Be Your Name
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy "WILL" be done on earth as it is in heaven.

The Almighty Father is our God The creator, The King of Kings, The beginning & end of time.
His policy in His kingdom is LOVE, sinless, justice, fairness, help, harmony, establish good relationship among His citizens, all just simply singing joyfully, happilly daily serving Him as His subjects in The New Jerusalem for eternity.
He share all of us His "holy" spirit that we be together with Him in eternity...if you are worthy to be His loyal citizens.
God gave struck a deal with His people to obey His covenant, instructions, commandments or law for life guidance so that they will not be lost whensoever.
He wants His kingdom policy to be felt, done and to live it everyday by people born in this world.
Thus, this physical world is a testings/trials/screening on who would become His loyal people until the end/death of our physical body.
How do we know if it is true? It is shown by Jesus Christ through His "redemption" where He rises after sacrifices/sufferings/death for the glory of Father God in Heaven by rejecting satans temptations from this world.
What is the "glory" of God?
...It is the triumph of goodness, faithfulness, loyalty to God resisting temptations, sinning and fear of physical death...
...which satan (the ruler of this world) is trying to convince us all to go against God policy, commandments, instructions & law.

...satan is showing us the beauty of living in this physical world (forgetting the future of eternal life with God, & trying to convince everybody that there`s no holy spirit within us)... and not to worry about tomorrow, enjoy the life you want especially when endowed with power, money, success, influence, celebrity like reputations & influences, how pride would give you integrity & power, how destroying other people & nations makes you great and world reknown, makes you to live on top of the world, how you cheat and destroy people lives makes you perfectly happy every moment of your life, etc,.etc.etc.

Would you yourself want to do his "will" ? I hope so.

To live a righteous and Holy life as close to that of the life of Jesus Christ as possible, and to praise him for giving us his only son to rid us of our sins.

Well, it's different in different situations. Every important decision you make can be made in agreement with or in opposition to God's will.

The ones who focus most intently on this concept are Muslims. The word "Islam" means "submission" (to God's will). The word "Muslim" means "one who submits" to God's will. I'm not a Muslim, btw -- just someone who admires their religion.
