Not some lame make believe belt. I want to become the undisputed undefeated champ. I have a left arm up to the elbow. I'm afraid that taking too many clean hits because of my lack of defense is going to leave me with down syndrome or worse.

No, to be involved in any sanctioned bout in any of the 50 states you must pass a physical exam. You would have to have both arms to pass this exam. With only one hand there is no way you can defend yourself, you would get slaughtered.

Well ask yourself has anyone ever done it before? Not yet.

But take note that boxers occasionally fight with a broken hand, and even in extremes have fought with broken arms, which they could not use for defence or offence.

Its still possible for someone to win at high level using a jab hook strategy and a lot of backpedalling.

So there's something to think about.

Sorry but no way. I don't know why they guy above has two thumbs down as downs syndrome is something that you are born with, and isent caused by any kind of brain damage caused through taking punches.

You would not be allowed to box in your condition. If, however, your right hand does have power as you say it does....you might want to consider trying to become a professional arm wrestler ? I don't think having one arm would prevent you from participating as an arm wrestler.....Good Luck in whatever endeavor you choose !

Check out the Disabled Olympics. You might well become a champ....although there are probably a lot of other one-armed boxers out there who are as good as you. Still, you'd get a damn good fight out of it and maybe a medal. Good luck to you

Im sorry but you wouldnt even get a license to box, there is some kind of legislation within boxing that you have to have all of your limbs, i presume to do with safety issues, you may well be able to compete in some sort of exhibition fight but that may well be about it.

You are joking right? A boxer would continuously circle to your left and beat the crap out of you, and you would be helpless to stop him.

...There was a guy posting two days ago looking to box with only one leg...You two morons should suit up and beat the hell out of each other....Down's Syndrome is a genetic disability not one caused by injury.
